Announcement of nominations for American Music Award has been made on Tuesday and one of the familiar name of Taylor Swift is at the top.
According to reports Six AMA nominations has been earned by the artist Taylor Swift and these nominations includes “nods for artist of the year, Song of the year “Blank Space” and Collaboration of the year” by T-Mobile” and also for “Bad Blood” her pairing with Kendrick Lamar.
The Weeknd and Ed Sheeran both are right behind Taylor Swift with five nominations. The Weeknd has a song selected for song of the year category “Can’t feel My Face” and Sheeran’s song “Thinking out Loud” also selected for song of the year.
“Weeknd and Ed Sheeran both are with the nomination of “Expansive Artist of the year” and this category included 10 artists.
Other artist of the year nominees are Luke Bryan, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor.
This time AMA’s used social media for announcing the nominations. Initially six categories were announced live on ABC’s show “Good Morning America” and the remaining five were announced by Snapchat. And rest of the 12 categories we live streamed by ABC News.
Fans can vote by Voting on AMAvote.com, by posting on Facebook with nominee’s name and category hastag or posting on Twitter with a nominee’s name, the category name and the #AMA hashtag.
The Show would air on 22nd November on ABC and would be hosted by Jennifer Lopez.
