Finn Wolfhard (19) will take place in the director’s chair later this month. The ‘Stranger Things’ star will direct a film that the two wrote together with actor Billy Bryk (22).
It is about a horror comedy that will be called Hell of a Summer and is set during a summer camp. Jason Bateman is one of the producers of the film.
In a press release, Finn said he is very much looking forward to co-directing his first full-length film. The teenager previously directed a short and directed a music clip.
Finn scored his first television role at the age of 12, in the series The 100 . He has appeared as Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things since 2016, and played Richie Tozier in the films It (2017) and It: Chapter Two (2019).
