Actor Steven Seagal (66) ran away during a television interview after receiving questions about the allegations of sexual abuse at his address. The American actor has denied the allegations for months.
During a TV interview with the BBC program Newsnight, the presenter asked about the accusations: “You have been hit hard by accusations of sexual harassment, there was an accusation of rape, how do you deal with that?” Seagal then stripped himself of his microphone and walked out of the picture without saying anything else.
The Los Angeles police have been investigating new allegations of sexual abuse committed by Seagal since August. The first study started at the beginning of this year.
Regina Simons, a figurante who played in On Deadly Ground, says that Seagal raped her in 1993. The Dutch model Faviola Dadis also tells that the American caught her breasts during an audition. That would have happened in 2002 in a hotel in Beverly Hills, when Dadis was eighteen years old.
Stories about Seagal ‘completely fictional’ and ‘totally fabricated’
Anthony Falangetti, Seagal’s lawyer, tells TMZ that his client is not guilty of the sexual abuse that the women accused him of. According to the actor, the statements of the women are ‘completely fictional’ and ‘totally fabricated’.
In the meantime, more than ten women have accused Seagal of sexual abuse. The actor denies and says that the women are paid to lie and that they have no evidence or witnesses.
