The outage that hit a large number of major websites such as Google, Snapchat and Spotify tonight is over.
“The issues with all Google Cloud projects have been resolved,” Google writes on its status page . The Cloud outage is believed to have caused virtually all major social media websites except Twitter to be in trouble tonight.

Complaints poured in to Downdetector.com about services such as Amazon’s cloud branch Web Services, on-demand video service Paramount+ and the game Pokemon. Cybersecurity firm CloudFlare was also affected by the outage.
The reports started around 6:50 p.m. tonight. After an initial flurry of complaints, some sites slowly started to function again. The outage was resolved around 9:30 p.m.
