The following week, on December 16, former “SNL” cast member Kate McKinnon takes center stage as the host, accompanied by the chart-topping musical sensation Billie Eilish.
For Adam Driver, this marks his fourth appearance as an “SNL” host, having previously graced the iconic stage in 2016, 2018, and 2020. The versatile actor, known for his roles in films like “Star Wars” and “Marriage Story,” will soon captivate audiences with his portrayal of Enzo Ferrari in the much-anticipated biopic “Ferrari,” hitting theaters on December 25.
Olivia Rodrigo, who made her “SNL” debut in 2021, returns as the musical guest on December 9. The Grammy-nominated artist is riding high on the success of her second album, “Guts,” which earned her six Grammy nominations. Rodrigo is set to embark on a world tour in 2024, further solidifying her status as a rising star in the music industry.
On December 16, Kate McKinnon will step into the hosting role, marking a significant milestone in her career. The former “SNL” cast member, who bid farewell to the show in 2022 after a decade-long tenure, boasts an impressive track record with 10 Emmy nominations and two wins. McKinnon recently graced the big screen in Warner Bros.’ “Barbie” movie, showcasing her versatility in the entertainment industry.
Billie Eilish, a powerhouse in the music world, returns to “SNL” on December 16 for her third appearance. After first serving as the musical guest in 2019, Eilish made headlines in 2021 by taking on the dual role of host and guest. Her song “What Was I Made For?” from the “Barbie” movie earned her five Grammy nominations this year, along with another nod for best pop duo/group performance for “Never Felt So Alone” alongside Labrinth.
The December 2 episode will kick off the month with host Emma Stone, currently starring in the Showtime series “The Curse” and set to appear in the upcoming film “Poor Things.” Musical guest Noah Kahan will round out the dynamic lineup.
