Shawn Mendes will release his documentary In Wonder via Netflix on November 23, the Canadian pop star reports via Twitter . He was followed by cameras in the run-up to the release of his album Wonder .

The 22-year-old singer writes that he has been working on the documentary for a long time and that he cannot wait to share it. The footage was shot in recent years and the film is being directed by Grant Singer, who made video clips for artists such as The Weeknd, Lorde and Camila Cabello, Mendes’ girlfriend.

In addition to footage of the making of his new record, Mendes is also expected to provide a behind-the-scenes look at his 2019 world tour in his documentary.

Earlier this month, Mendes released his new single Wonder , the title song of his upcoming album due out on December 4. It is his first new work since the singer had a worldwide number 1 hit last year with Se ñ orita, a duet with Cabello.

The Canadian is not the first pop artist to be the subject of a Netflix documentary. Films were also made about Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and recently K-pop group Blackpink.
