Shah Rukh Khan’s Upcoming Films ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’ Create Record-Breaking Buzz with Lucrative Non-Theatrical Deals
Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated films, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki,’ are already making waves even before their release, as they have secured remarkable non-theatrical rights deals.
According to the latest report from Pinkvilla, the combined rights for ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’ were sold for an impressive sum of INR 450–500 crore.
Insiders shared, “It’s now Shah Rukh Khan versus Shah Rukh Khan, as the top two non-theatrical deals of all time bear the name of King Khan.”
“The digital, satellite, and music rights for ‘Jawan’ fetched around Rs 250 crore, while ‘Dunki’ secured approximately Rs 230 crore.”
“The rights for ‘Jawan’ have been acquired for all languages, whereas ‘Dunki’ primarily focuses on the Hindi market.”
Sources further revealed, “There are still some non-theatrical deals in the pipeline, and the total non-theatrical revenue for both films is expected to reach close to Rs 500 crore. These individual deals will rank among the highest ever for a feature film.”

Directed by Atlee, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is scheduled to release on September 7. Meanwhile, ‘Dunki,’ helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, is set for a Christmas release later this year.
