The Kissing Booth 2 appeared the week before the announcement of the third part of the comedy series. In the sequel to The Kissing Booth from 2018, Elle develops feelings for another, while her partner Noah celebrates at a university.
In The Kissing Booth -filmreeks his play starring Joey King, Joel Courtney and Jacob Elordi. Molly Ringwald, known for the eighties films Sixteen Candles , The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink, is also part of the cast.
The Kissing Booth received mostly critical reviews in 2018. Still, Netflix decided to follow up on the film because of the commercial success the streaming service had with it.
