”  I believe it and I will work with him again” : Woody Allen may be boycotted by distributors in the United States because of accusations of sexual abuse, the American actress Scarlett Johansson, whom he has done several times , defended himself in an interview published Wednesday.

The US theatrical release of her latest film, A Rainy Day in New York , was canceled by Amazon when Woody Allen’s adoptive daughter, Dylan Farrow, renewed in 2018 charges of sexual assault at the filmmaker from 1992, when she was seven years old. Woody Allen has always categorically denied the accusations of the young woman, backed by her adoptive mother Mia Farrow and her brother Ronan. Prosecutions were dropped after two separate investigations lasting several months. In response to a question from Hollywood Reporter magazine, Scarlett Johansson officially sided with the 83-year-old director.
