We all know Rihanna (31) from munchers of hits such as Umbrella, Pon de Replay and Diamonds. But now she is so much more than just a singer. The Barbadian, for example, has a successful make-up line and is also represented in the lingerie sector. And with the latter, she is now launching a campaign specifically for breast cancer month.
“I want to increase awareness for disadvantaged breast cancer communities”
In the special collection, which is for sale from today, one color stands out: pink. All items in the line meet the color in honor of breast cancer month.
The marketing campaign is aimed at four women with breast cancer: Stephanie Seban, Bianca Muniz, Johanna De La Cruz and Nalie Agustin. Their inspiring stories are summarized in the collection, which is accompanied by a special video.
“I want to raise awareness for disadvantaged breast cancer communities. The Savage X Thrivers collection represents young women of all walks of life struggling with cancer,” Rihanna announces in the American Glamor.
With the collection, RiRi not only wants to generate more awareness about breast cancer. Part of the proceeds also goes to the Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation , which focuses on research and support for young patients with breast cancer. “The easiest way for people to get involved and make a difference is to shop this collection,” said the 31-year-old.
