Yesterday afternoon in New York was the famous National Parade of Puerto Rico.
Tens of thousands of people took to the streets of the megalopolis to take part in the procession. Among them was noted and the famous singer Ricky Martin – hereditary Puerto Rican, who was born in the capital of the state – the city of San Juan. He danced and sang along with all the participants in the parade, as well as signing autographs to those who wished.
Parade Parade of Puerto Rico, demonstrating the diversity of the culture of this state, has been held in New York since 1958 and has gathered millions of people on the streets. It is not for nothing that the holiday is held in New York – according to the US census, it is there that more Puerto Rican people live.
A colorful procession takes place on Fifth Avenue from 44th to 79th streets, and later transferred to the Bronx, where you can dance, listen to national music and taste food all day.
