Streamer Paramount+ continues the plan for a restart of hit series ‘Criminal Minds’. American media report that. The project had already been suggested a year and a half ago, but partly due to the corona crisis, the idea was shelved. Now the series continues. Most old actors are back in the game, reports ‘The Hollywood Reporter’.
Leading actor Joe Mantegna already shared a suggestive photo of the set on Tuesday. The popular crime series stopped in 2019 after fifteen seasons. Criminal Minds , about an elite FBI team, first aired in 2005.
In the ‘old’ version, the profilers dealt with a new case every episode. In the reboot, the team will tackle a large file in several episodes. Earlier, the relaunch of the CSI series also opted for this approach. A second season of this reboot was recently ordered.
In the new series, the FBI’s elite team of criminal profilers come up against an UnSub who has used the pandemic to build a network of other killers. When the world opens back up, the network goes operational, and our team must hunt them down.https://t.co/iT3pcKS5XR
