George Clooney and Amal Clooney grace the red carpet despite London’s rainy weather for ‘The Boys in the Boat’ premiere
On a damp Sunday evening, Hollywood icon George Clooney and his accomplished wife, Amal Clooney, made a stylish appearance at the premiere of George’s latest film, ‘The Boys in the Boat,’ hosted at Curzon Cinema Mayfair in London on December 3.
Undeterred by the rain, the 62-year-old actor gallantly shielded the couple with an umbrella as they braved the elements for the star-studded event. Joining them on the red carpet were the film’s stars Joel Edgerton, Callum Turner, and Bruce Herbelin-Earle, accompanied by producer Grant Heslov and Amal’s mother, Baria Alamuddin.
‘The Boys in the Boat’ narrates the compelling tale of the 1936 University of Washington rowing team’s pursuit of gold at the Summer Olympics in Berlin. Set against the backdrop of the Great Depression, this inspirational true story unfolds as a group of underdogs rises to prominence, challenging elite rivals from across the globe.
Adding another feather to his cap, George Clooney takes on the role of director for the film, scheduled to hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th. For a sneak peek into the cinematic journey, eager audiences can catch a glimpse of the trailer here!
