The long-awaited Pam and Tommy series is finally out – but it’s not Pam or Tommy everyone is talking about, it’s the penis that’s talking about Tommy Lee.
The show tells the infamous story of the former couple’s sex tape, which was stolen and released across the world.
Given the subject matter, it’s no surprise that the show features sex and nudity; however, viewers were unprepared for a scene in which Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy has a heart-to-heart with his talkative phallus.
The cock/rocker convo comes out of nowhere in the second episode, as Tommy finds himself falling in love with Pam and his penis ringing to encourage him to keep playing the court.
Midway through the episode, Tommy can be heard from the bathroom saying, “I think that’s her”, at which point another mysterious voice is heard.
For a while, some viewers may have concluded that this second voice was a voice in his head, but it soon becomes clear that’s not the case.

While rocking around, desperate for his owner to fall in love, the talking d**k exclaims, “We’ve been down this road before, and it never ends well. »
From there, the c**k gets angrier and angrier, with more and more swearing coming out of his urethra as he lists some celebrities he might miss fucking if he settles down with Pam. .
In total, the scene lasts the best part of two minutes, and many viewers were left speechless throughout:
Tommy Lee is talking to his penis.
That’s not the weird part.
The weird part is that his penis is answering him.#PamAndTommy— Anthony Hillman (@axlreznor) February 2, 2022
As you’d expect, writer Robert Siegal said there’s been some “recoil” in the scene – even if it wasn’t quite as random as it sounds.
Speaking to Variety, he said, “As much as I’d like to take credit for it, I was just adapting a chapter from [Lee’s] memoir.
“I think it could be a first [for television]. There was a slight recoil, because you have to back off a bit when a talking penis comes your way. But Hulu was overwhelmingly supportive. »

Director Craig Gillespie said filming the scene was “just awkward”, adding, “You have four puppeteers working with an animatronic penis.
“And then how much is too much, and are you starting to lose your emotional torment of what’s going on?” I hope it works. »
I’ll let you be the judge — you can watch the show on Disney+ (yes, Disney has gone from talking mice to talking d**ks).
