Film production company Paramount Pictures and toy manufacturer Hasbro have started preparations for a new Transformers film. The companies have hired two script writers who have experience in the field of action films, reports The Hollywood Reporter Monday.
Details about the plot of the new film from the series are not yet known. The same applies to the release date.
The scriptwriter Joby Harold hired by Paramount and Hasbro, among other things, contributed to the second and third part of the John Wick films. His colleague James Vanderbilt was jointly responsible for the script of the Amazing Spider-Man films.
The first Transformers movie appeared in 2007. Bumblebee (2018) is the latest movie in the series about robots that can transform into cars and planes.
