Netflix is open to a new season of series Master of None with Aziz Ansari. The actor was discredited earlier this year when a woman accused him of sexual misconduct after a date.
During the autumn presentation of the streaming service in Los Angeles, Cindy Holland, the top female of the content branch of Netflix, said: “We have certainly thought about that and we would like to make another Master of None season, if Ansari is ready for it.”
Holland was also asked about the upheaval that arose when Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink told Beyond Stranger Things in the aftershow that she was suddenly summoned to kiss an opponent during a shooting day.
The then fourteen-year-old told in the program that she was very embarrassed about this, but later she emphasized that she never felt compelled. Holland did not specifically address the situation, but indicated that Netflix has the highest priority that everyone on the streaming service sets is “safe, comfortable and in good health”.
Photographer
Ansari was accused by a photographer of sexual misconduct. She said she met Ansari at the Emmys, and the two went back and forth after a while on a date in New York.
After a short dinner, they left for the comedian’s house, where she felt forced to engage in sexual acts through Ansari’s pushing behavior. She let him know the next day, to which he apologized. Ansari says that during the night he had the idea that sex was “absolutely with mutual consent”.
