The American channel Country Music Television has just scheduled season 6 of the television series Nashville for Thursday, January 4.
While season 5 officially ended last August, CMT announced that the Nashville musical drama will be back by next January for a sixth season. Callie Khouri’s show follows a legendary country singer in decline, Rayna Jaymes. While her latest album is not selling well, her label suggests she joins the Juliette Barnes tour, young and sexy, the new country sensation.

The casting of Nashville will still consist of Hayden Panettiere (Juliette Barnes), Clare Bowen (Scarlett O’Connor), Charles Esten (Deacon Claybourne), Jonathan Jackson (Avery Barkley), Sam Palladio (Gunnar Scott), Chris Carmack (Will Lexington ), Lennon Stella (Maddie Conrad), Maisy Stella (Daphne Conrad), Cameron Scoggins (Zach Welles) and Kaitlin Doubleday (Jessie Caine).
