Actor Michael B. Jordan called at a meeting in Los Angeles on Saturday to cast more black actors and actresses for major Hollywood movies, The Wrap reports.
“We must keep stirring things up”
According to the Black Panther actor, Hollywood had planned to make the casting of men and women equal in 2020. “But what about the intention to hire more blacks,” he wondered aloud. “Do you monitor our stories too? Let’s bring our darkness to the light.”
According to the actor, the black community should not conform to others. “We must keep stirring things up, we cannot let this moment pass us by, we must continue to put our feet on their necks.”
