Megan Fox has taken to Instagram to address the cheating allegations against her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly. In a note shared on Sunday (Feb. 19), the Jennifer’s Body actress clarified that there was no infidelity involved in their relationship and stated that there has been no interference from any third party, including humans, DMs, AI bots, or succubus demons. Fox also expressed her dislike for baseless news stories and urged the media to stop harassing innocent people.
Recently, Megan Fox removed all her Instagram posts with Machine Gun Kelly and uploaded a video of a burning envelope. She quoted lyrics from Beyoncé’s Lemonade album, which delves into the anguish of being betrayed in a relationship. Following the post, the actress deactivated her Instagram account.
Their speculated break-up sparked rumors that MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, had cheated on Fox with Sophie Lloyd, a guitarist in his band. However, Lloyd’s management team promptly denied these rumors with a statement.
According to a statement released on Feb. 15, Sophie Lloyd, a talented musician and member of MGK’s band, has been unfairly dragged into the media due to baseless allegations on social media. The statement also denied any claims that Lloyd acted unprofessionally or strayed from her relationship. The statement concluded by highlighting that reporting anything to the contrary is disrespectful to Lloyd as a female artist and represents poor journalism and social commentary.
The rumors surrounding the couple’s split came as a surprise to fans who have been following MGK and Fox’s romance, especially since they appeared together at the 2023 Grammys in early February. After MGK, who was nominated for Best Rock Album, went home empty-handed that night, Fox posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, praising him for handling the loss with grace and maturity, saying she was proud of him.
MGK and Fox first met in Puerto Rico while filming the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020. They officially started dating that summer and got engaged in January 2022. Fox was previously married to actor Brian Austin Green, and they have three young sons together. MGK has a teenage daughter.
