Linda Hamilton would be happy if she would never be featured in a Terminator movie again. That says the 63-year-old actress in conversation with The Hollywood Reporter .
Hamilton plays the character Sarah Connor in the films The Terminator (1984), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) and Terminator: Dark Fate (2019). When asked whether she thinks she will play the role in the next part, the American actress answers in the negative.
“No, I don’t know. Perhaps if it were a production where no millions were invested and the interests were not that great.”
“People don’t go to the movies anymore”
Although Terminator: Dark Fate received fairly good reviews, the action film brought in less money than expected. According to Hamilton, this is largely due to the unpredictability of the cinema audience.
“I hear it so often:” People don’t go to the movies anymore. ” And those are not the words of analysts from Hollywood, but those of the common man. (Making films, ed.) Should not entail such an extremely high financial risk. to never return. “
Still, Hamilton keeps the door ajar. “I am a fairly pragmatic person. If there was a new element in it that really appealed to me, I might change my mind.”
