Nineteen years after the premiere of the hit comedy Legally Blonde , the cast reunites for a virtual reunion. Leading actress Reese Witherspoon announced this on Instagram on Monday . The reunion will take place on Wednesday morning (Dutch time).

“Oh my God guys! It’s a Legally Blonde reunion,” Witherspoon writes. “We laughed, we cried and we may have done the ‘ bend and snap ‘ (a choreographic pass from the film, ed.), Because of the old days!”

The reunion will be hosted by Satuday Night Live presenter Chloe Fineman. Witherspoon, who played Elle Woods, will star with cast members Selma Blair (Vivian Kensington), Jessica Cauffiel (Margot) and Jennifer Coolidge (Paulette Bonafonté).

Matthew Davis (Warner Huntington III), Ali Larter (Brooke Taylor Windham), Holland Taylor (Professor Stromwell), Alanna Ubach (Serena McGuire) and Luke Wilson (Emmett Richmond) will also be present.

Viewers can donate money during the reunion. Proceeds will go to World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit and NGO dedicated to providing meals after natural disasters.

Legally Blonde was released in 2001 and is based on Amanda Brown’s novel of the same name. The film raised 141 million dollars (almost 120 million euros) worldwide, with a budget of 18 million dollars (more than 15 million euros).

The film was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, among other things. Witherspoon was also nominated for a Golden Globe.

The meeting of the cast members of Legally Blonde can be seen on YouTube at 00.15 Wednesday morning (Dutch time) .
