Before her role in House of Gucci , Lady Gaga looked closely at how cats and foxes behave, she says in an interview with Variety .
“Before the film started, I studied a house cat,” said the singer and actress, who played Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci . She was married to fashion entrepreneur Maurizio Gucci, who was shot dead in 1995. Reggiani was convicted of the murder.
Gaga also watched foxes hunt. “At the funeral, where Patrizia comes into contact with the character of Al Pacino (he plays Aldo Gucci, Maurizio’s uncle), she suddenly turns into a fox because she is hunting. I did exercises in my hotel room where I imagined I was an animal.”
For the last scene of the film, the actress looked at panthers. “Because panthers move very slowly, but once they catch their prey, it gets very violent and ugly.”
