Khloé Kardashian Reveals Lifelong Fear of Whales During ‘The Kardashians’ Premiere
In a surprising revelation during the premiere of the fourth season of “The Kardashians,” Khloé Kardashian, despite growing up on the coast, opened up about her deep-seated fear of whales. The reality star candidly discussed her phobia, even revealing that her eldest child, True, playfully teases her about it.
Despite being surrounded by the ocean throughout her life, Khloé expressed her discomfort when her family encountered whales during the premiere episode. “I’m really going crazy,” she admitted on the show, as viewers watched footage of the Kardashian clan observing whales. “I feel like I’m going to cry. I don’t think I like seeing it,” she added.
Khloé went on to provide insight into her fear of these majestic marine creatures. “True even teases me about it. She thinks it’s funny,” Khloé shared on the show, highlighting how her own child finds amusement in her irrational fear.
Taking to her former Twitter account, Khloé elaborated on her phobia, emphasizing that it has plagued her for many years. “I don’t want anything bad to happen to whales, and I know this phobia is completely irrational, but we don’t choose our phobias,” she tweeted.
She continued, “I have a mild fear of the ocean, but I can’t even look at a whale; it scares me so much. They are huge, and we are discovering new species all the time. More than 80 percent of our oceans remain unmapped. We don’t even know what’s in there.”
Khloé Kardashian’s revelation serves as a reminder that even the most seemingly fearless individuals can have deeply rooted fears and phobias. It’s a personal insight that adds another layer to the complex world of reality television’s most famous family.
