The designer was one of the first to present the collection of the spring-summer 2020 season.
A new spring-summer collection by Alexander Wang was shown at Rockefeller Center in New York last night .This is the first show in the framework of New York Fashion Week, the rest will be held from 2 to 6 June.
The main sources of inspiration for this season were the legends of the 20th century American fashion – Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan. With his new collection, Wang paid tribute to these designers. The line consists of conditional four parts: wide shoulders and knitted bodysuit, logo t-shirts and boiled denim, suede clothing with fringe and blazers and, finally, snow-white suits.
The show was attended by girlfriends and frequent models of Wang shows – Kendall Jenner and Kaya Gerber .They entered the podium in the final and most spectacular, “white” part. However, the designer drew attention to his collection not only by them: this show was the debut for Pete Davidson, the actor (“Brooklyn 9-9”, “Podstava”, “Dirt”) and ex-fiance Ariana Grande. And among the star guests were Anna Wintour and Diplo.
