Keke Palmer Returns for Season 2 of “Password” with New Games and Star-Studded Lineup
Keke Palmer, the trailblazing host of NBC’s “Password,” isn’t just playing games β she’s making history. Palmer, who recently became the first Black woman to win an Emmy for outstanding game show host, brings her passion for gaming to the forefront as she gears up for Season 2 of the hit show.
In a recent interview, Palmer revealed her love for the classic board game Monopoly, admitting, “Monopoly will have people cussing you out; it’s worse than Spades!” Despite her family’s reluctance to play with her due to her strategic prowess, Palmer still enjoys the game to this day, even playing it on her phone.
“Password” returns for its second season with Palmer and executive producer Jimmy Fallon at the helm. Fallon promises viewers an unforgettable experience, with new games, fashionable looks, and plenty of surprises in store.
This season boasts an impressive lineup of celebrity guests, including Wiz Khalifa, Jimmy Kimmel, Johnny Knoxville, Chance the Rapper, Meghan Trainor, and Lindsey Vonn. According to Palmer, comedian Roy Wood Jr. and actor Joe Manganiello were standout contestants, showcasing their skills in the game.
Fallon also teased some new additions to the gameplay, including themed rounds and the option for contestants to “Shoot the Moon” for extra points.
Palmer’s infectious energy and catchphrases, such as “And the gag isβ¦,” kept Fallon in stitches throughout filming. Fallon praised Palmer for her fashion sense and authenticity, highlighting her ability to effortlessly switch between glamorous heels and comfortable Ugg boots on set.
Beyond her hosting duties, Palmer is busy building her KeyTV Network and balancing motherhood. Reflecting on her journey, Palmer expressed gratitude for her resilience and determination to pursue her passions.
As for her son Leo, who recently turned one, Palmer hopes to pass on her love of gaming, whether it’s through Monopoly or the creative family games they play on road trips.
