This afternoon, Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived in Wales on an official visit. They had already managed to visit the Mumbles resort area, where they met with local rescue workers.
Following the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went to the city of Port Talbot, a major center of the iron and steel industry of Wales. There, the couple met with employees, as well as with the management of the Tata Steel plant. Representatives of the monarchy also glanced at the production itself in order to examine the conditions in which employees work. So, Kate and William visited the tape mill workshop, as well as the local training center.
This trip was the first official visit of the Duke and Duchess after the country left the European Union on January 31, and the British press emphasized that they paid attention to local industry.
Well, at the end of the day, a visit to a leisure center in Port Talbot is planned, where young people living in this working area can do fitness and boxing and overcome psychological problems through sports.
