Kanye West has been involved in several negative altercations with paparazzi and fans attempting to capture his daily activities on camera.
However, earlier this week, the rapper discovered a new way to manage these situations without resorting to violent behavior.
As reported by TMZ on February 16, West visited the L.A. County Sheriff’s West Hollywood Station to report an encounter he had with photographers on Tuesday. Sources with knowledge of the incident informed the outlet that West entered the station and informed officers that his alleged interaction almost escalated into violence, but he did not engage with the paparazzi any further.
The L.A.P.D. is currently investigating the matter, and West left the police station peacefully after completing his report. This new approach to addressing paparazzi-related issues comes after West has been involved in several incidents that have gone viral. In the most recent incident last month, he confronted a woman who he believed was following him in her car, resulting in the woman accusing him of being a celebrity who needs to be recorded. West slapped her phone out of her hand, leading to an investigation of battery charges.
West’s most recent interaction with paparazzi occurred on the same day he was spotted at an AMC Theater in Los Angeles with his new wife, Bianca Censori, Russell Simmons, and producer 88-Keys. Photographers followed them out of the theater in Hollywood to a nearby garage where they parked their cars. However, it remains unclear if the two incidents are related.
