Kanye West (44) seems to want to add a new line to his portfolio in addition to his successful fashion label Yeezy. The rapper, who has always been a big fan of Apple products, has registered the Donda brand name to release gadgets himself in the future, ‘TMZ’ reports.
To start with, Kanye would like to release tablets, speakers and surround sound systems under the name Donda. Once that’s up and running, headphones and wireless headsets for tablets and phones are on the agenda.
According to sources, Kanye has big plans for Donda and wants to make it a big, competitive tech brand.
West’s Mascotte Holdings company filed the trademark application on September 21st, per the United States Patent and Trademark Office. It’s a broad application that offers no specific insight into what exactly West’s tech-based plans are, though it definitely seems like it’ll help him cover all his bases.
