Travis Kelce Touches Down in Australia to Join Taylor Swift on Tour
Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce, has officially arrived in Australia to support his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on the international leg of her Eras Tour. The news was confirmed by a source to Us Weekly on Wednesday, February 21, revealing that Kelce, 34, traveled from Las Vegas to Oz after participating in a local golf tournament.
The Morning Show in Australia shared live video footage of Kelce disembarking from a plane with the headline, “Taylor’s Boyfriend Arrives in Sydney.” Swift, 34, had already been in Australia, having commenced her stadium concerts earlier in Melbourne. She is scheduled to perform four shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium, starting on Friday, February 23, before continuing to Singapore and various European cities.
Kelce’s commitment to join Swift on tour was evident after the conclusion of the NFL season, where he and the Kansas City Chiefs secured victory in Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers on February 11. Following the game at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, Swift, who had just flown in from Japan where she had a concert the previous night, celebrated her boyfriend’s triumph on the field.
In an exclusive source statement to Us prior to the Super Bowl, it was revealed, “After the Super Bowl, Travis will be joining Taylor on her tour and traveling with her. They are happy and looking forward to spending more time together.”
Kelce’s father, Ed, also expressed his son’s enthusiasm to support Swift on tour, saying, “He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments.”
Kelce and Swift’s relationship began in the summer of 2023 after a missed connection at one of her Missouri concerts. They made their romance public nearly three months later when Swift attended her first Chiefs game in September 2023 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. The couple has since been spotted at various events, showing their support for each other.
