K-909 Responds to Reports of Mishaps at NMIXX’s Concert Filming
Fans who attended the filming of NMIXX’s performance have come forward, alleging multiple mishaps during the event. In response, JTBC’s K-909 has finally addressed the situation. On July 10, attendees reported various incidents that occurred during the concert filming.
One fan shared their account, stating, “A fire broke out on stage, someone fainted, and a drone ripped out some of [Kyujin’s] hair… it was a shocking and horrifying pre-recording, so rather than feeling touched that I was able to hear [NMIXX’s] new song before their comeback, my primary concern was escaping.”
In light of these claims, K-909 promptly responded, providing an explanation for the incidents. They stated, “Due to an issue with part of the set, the pink muhly grass, which was being used as a stage prop, caught fire. Once we discovered the fire, we immediately evacuated NMIXX from the stage and swiftly extinguished the flames with a fire extinguisher. Additionally, we ensured proper ventilation of the area.”
However, K-909 denied the reports of someone fainting, clarifying, “During the shoot, one audience member mentioned feeling unwell and decided to leave the filming location accompanied by a staff member. Although we advised them to go home, they insisted they were fine and reentered the site.”
Regarding the incident involving a drone and Kyujin, K-909 addressed the situation, saying, “As soon as the drone became entangled in Kyujin’s hair, we halted filming to assess her well-being. After confirming that she was unharmed, we resumed filming. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Nevertheless, we are committed to enhancing our accident management protocols for the future.”
The response from K-909 sheds light on the reported mishaps at NMIXX’s concert filming, assuring fans that appropriate measures were taken to address each incident. As the investigation unfolds, both fans and industry observers eagerly await further updates and improvements in concert safety standards.
