Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya and Ansel Elgort will play the lead roles in the crime thriller Finest Kind, written and directed by Oscar winner Brian Helgeland.
The story of the film revolves around two brothers, played by Gyllenhaal ( Brokeback Mountain ) and Elgort ( Baby Driver ), reports Deadline.
They close a dangerous deal with a criminal organization, making them get caught up in the underworld of the American city of Boston. The role that Zendaya will play, which can currently be seen in the musical The Greatest Showman, is not yet known.
Helgeland won in 1998 the Oscar for best script for the film LA Confidential. Six years later he was nominated for the same prize for his contribution to the film Mystic River.
