Hilaria Baldwin appeared stoic as she picked up her children from school on Thursday, shortly after it was announced that her husband Alec Baldwin could face a five-year prison sentence.
She had a determined expression as she walked past photographers, heading towards an SUV parked outside their Greenwich Village home.
She was seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt with the word “Human” written on it, crocodile-textured leggings and bejeweled black slippers.
Earlier in the day, Alec Baldwin was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter by New Mexico prosecutors, in connection to the accidental shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie “Rust” last year.
The film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, has also been charged with the same counts. Baldwin has denied any wrongdoing, claiming that he did not know that the prop gun contained a real bullet when he fired it. Hutchins died from her injuries.
According to special prosecutor Andrea Reeb, “The death of Halyna Hutchins could have been prevented if any one of Alec Baldwin, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, or David Halls had fulfilled their responsibilities properly. It is as straightforward as that.”
