Harvey Weinstein has left his isolation cell at Wende Correctional Facility in New York State. The film producer convicted of sexual abuse was quarantined two weeks ago after he was diagnosed with the corona virus.
A spokesman for the former filmmaker explains to Fox News that the 68-year-old is fine. The spokesman was unable or unwilling to say which symptoms of the virus had occurred at Weinstein. A personal consultant of the once powerful film magnate informs the sender that he is still staying at the medical unit. That would be related to other health problems, presumably heart problems for which he went under the knife last month.
Weinstein is serving a 23-year sentence for the sexual assault and rape of two women in New York. He has yet to appear in a lawsuit surrounding similar allegations in Los Angeles.
