The Guggenheim Museum in New York has offered the American President Donald Trump a golden toilet bowl. The museum did this after the White House had submitted a request to borrow a Van Gogh for the room of his wife Melania.
The request for the canvas Landscape in the snow from Vincent van Gogh to loan is kindly rejected by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
Instead, the curator proposed to install a gold 18-carat toilet bowl in the White House. He still had the museum in New York available.
The golden toilet was created by the Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan and was part of an exhibition that was just around the time the White House approached the museum in September.

Curator Nancy Spector replied by email that the toilet is available “should the First Lady be interested in installing it in the White House,” writes the Washington Post, who has seen the mail.
The golden artwork called America was used by visitors during the exhibition on the fifth floor. The pot with an estimated value of more than 1 million dollars is according to connoisseurs symbol for excessive wealth in the US.
