A U.S. military plane with four people crashed in northern Norway, sadly all four people were killed.
The V-22 Osprey was involved in a NATO military exercise called “Cold Response” when its disappearance was reported at 6:26 p.m. on Friday, the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC) said.
Rescue services arrived at the crash site by land early Saturday after helicopters were unable to land due to bad weather.
“Police arrived at the scene of the accident around 1:30 p.m. “Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that all four people on the plane were killed,” said Ivar Bo Nilsson, head of the Nordland police operation.
