Keanu Reeves Spotted Using Crutches and Ice Pack on Set of Upcoming Film “Good Fortune”
Renowned actor Keanu Reeves, famous for his roles in films like ‘John Wick,’ was seen walking with crutches and sporting an ice pack on his knee during a break on the set of the highly anticipated movie “Good Fortune.” The incident occurred on Thursday, capturing the attention of onlookers and sparking curiosity among fans.
The 59-year-old star was photographed on the Los Angeles set, clad in a beige trench coat, gray trousers, a white button-down shirt, and a green tie. The images also featured his co-star Seth Rogen, 41, engrossed in his phone.
Directed by Aziz Ansari, who is also starring in the film, “Good Fortune” boasts a star-studded cast including Reeves, Rogen, and Keke Palmer. Despite numerous inquiries, representatives for Reeves and Lionsgate, the studio producing the film, remained tight-lipped about the details of the incident.
The comedy film’s premise has been kept under wraps, with the project officially announced in April 2023. Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chair Joe Drake expressed enthusiasm about the film, stating, “We have indeed found good fortune with this film.” The production, however, faced a setback in May due to a writers’ strike, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Keke Palmer, 30, one of the cast members, provided a glimpse behind the scenes by sharing selfies with Reeves, Ansari, and Rogen on set. The Emmy winner captioned the Instagram post, “Having so much fun with these amazing guys on set of our film ‘Good Fortune’ — we had a pool scene today that lowkey turned into a real pool party hahaha! Working with Aziz something spontaneous always happens 🤣♥️.”

In addition to his involvement in “Good Fortune,” Reeves surprised fans earlier this month with the announcement of his collaboration with author China Miéville on a novel titled “The Book of Elsewhere.” The actor shared the news on Good Morning America, revealing that the book is set to be published in July. Inspired by the comic book series “BRZRKR” that Reeves released in 2021, the novel is a joint creation with co-writer Matt Kindt and artist Ron Garney.
