CEO of K-pop Group Fifty Fifty’s Company Expresses Desire for Reconciliation, Alleges Manipulation
Jeon Hong Joon, the CEO of ATTRAKT, the agency representing K-pop group Fifty Fifty, continues to assert that the ongoing dispute with the group is a result of manipulation. He has expressed his willingness to reconcile with the group members who have filed for contract termination, citing multiple violations by the agency.
In an interview with Star News on July 11, Jeon Hong Joon stated, “We need to allow the members to resume their promotions as soon as possible.”
However, he maintained his claim that the agency dispute arose due to the members being manipulated by Ahn Sung Il of The Givers. Jeon Hong Joon shared, “I can only say that we are in this situation because Ahn Sung Il and his employee gaslighted the members. On July 19, we sent them a request for proof of contents, but after claiming he didn’t see it due to being in a conference, I have been unable to contact him since July 20. I am also unable to reach the members, but I suspect that Ahn Sung Il is still in contact with them.”
Jeon Hong Joon expressed his desire to reconcile not only with the group members but also with their families. He stated, “To be honest, two of the members are minors, and their parents are not familiar with this industry. How could they understand the situation? I can empathize with this, and all I want is to reconcile and start fresh.”
The dispute between Fifty Fifty and ATTRAKT continues to generate attention and speculation within the K-pop industry. As fans eagerly await further developments, the CEO’s call for reconciliation raises questions about the future of the group and the resolution of their contractual issues.
