Ed Sheeran (30) thinks it is a strange idea that he had to publicly announce his corona infection. The British singer tells this in a conversation with radio host Howard Stern (67).
“It’s kind of strange to get it and then have to make it known to the world”
At the end of October, the singer tested positive for corona. “I announced it a few days after,” says the singer. “It’s kind of strange to get it and then have to make it known to the world.”
The singer would have preferred not to say anything, but felt he should be honest with his fans. “I really didn’t want to announce it to everyone, but I had to cancel three big things in England and I didn’t want to be rude like, I just don’t want to show up for this.”
Meanwhile, the singer is out of quarantine and has almost completely recovered. According to Ed, despite being fully vaccinated, he had “really bad symptoms” of the virus.
Just before the Brit had to go into quarantine, he was still in the Netherlands to chat about his new album.
