Dua Lipa enlisted the help of Madonna, Missy Elliott and DJ The Blessed Madonna on her new single. It is a remix of the song Levitating that will be released on August 14, Lipa reports on Instagram .
Lipa refers to Madonna and Missy Elliott as her idols in the announcement. “Dreams come true,” writes the British singer. The Blessed Madonna describes the colleagues with whom she made the song as “the sweetest angels”.
Levitating is one of the songs on Lipas second album Future Nostalgia , which was released in March. The singer previously released the hits Don’t Start Now , Physical and Break My Heart from the album.
In recent years, Lipa has already worked with the K-pop group Blackpink, rapper Sean Paul, DJ Calvin Harris and the Dutch DJ Martin Garrix. Earlier this month, the song Un Dia (One Day) that Lipa recorded with J Balvin, Bad Bunny and Tainy was released.
For Madonna, Levitating is her first new work since the release of the album Madame X in 2019. Missy Elliott made a comeback with the EP Iconology in 2019 .
