The concert of Drake (36) at the Apollo Theater in New York was halted for fifteen minutes on Sunday after a visitor fell from the balcony. This is apparent from, among other things, reports about this from ‘Insider’ and videos from visitors on Twitter.

When the performance was about an hour and a half into the run, rapper 21 Savage took the stage to perform some songs from their joint album Her Loss with Drake . At that moment a man fell down from the second ring and ended up in the orchestra pit.

“We have to make sure everyone is okay first,” Drake told the crowd, before the two disappeared from the stage.

After fifteen minutes it was announced that everyone was miraculously okay and that the show could continue. Representatives of the concert organizer and the Apollo Theater have not yet responded to the question of what exactly happened.
