The family of star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has been reunited after the Portuguese and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez recently lost their newborn son. Rodriguez and their newborn daughter, the twin sister of the deceased boy, are back home, Ronaldo said on Instagram.
” Home sweet home “, the Manchester United footballer writes with a photo of his family. “Gio and our girl are finally back with us.” The Portuguese thanks his followers for the support he and his girlfriend received.
“We felt the love and respect you have for our family. It is now time to be thankful for the life we have just brought into this world.”

Earlier this week, Ronaldo announced that his girlfriend had given birth to twins, but that the boy did not make it. Their daughter turned out to be healthy. “It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our son has passed away,” Ronaldo wrote. “This is the greatest pain you can feel as a parent. Only the birth of our daughter gives us the strength to carry on.”
In recent days it has rained expressions of support for the footballer and his family. Supporters of rival Liverpool gave him their support with applause at Anfield, during a game against Manchester United. Ronaldo was missing then because of the drama with his son.
In October last year, Ronaldo announced that his partner was pregnant with twins. Ronaldo already had four children. His oldest, Cristiano junior, is 11 years old. In 2017, the Portuguese top footballer became the father of twins, a girl and a boy through a surrogate mother.
Later that year, he had another girl with his current girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
