In a video shared on Twitter a man could be seen running and attacking the comedian Dave Chappelle during the performance on a set at the Netflix is a joke festival.
This has been reported by the Hollywood reporter that Comedian Dave Chappelle was assaulted on the set at the Hollywood Bowl. The incident took place on Tuesday night, the footage of the attack is circulating on the social meida.
The video of the Attack on Dave Chappelle was posted by several attendees of the show; the vidoes showing the footage that while Dave Chappelle on the Stage was performing a man rushes at thim attempting to tackle the artist.

Later the man was dragged by the security away.
Dave Chappelle later talked about the incident and thanked the actor and comedian Jamie Foxx. Dave said “Whenever you’re in trouble, Jamie Foxx will show up in a sheriff’s hat,”.
Jamie Fox responded saying “N——, I thought that was part of the show, I didn’t know what the fuck…”.
Dave Chappelle further added saying “I grabbed the back of that n—— head. His hair was spongy. Absorbent”. Jamie Foxx also added saying “Listen, I just want to say, this man is an absolute genius. We’ve got to make sure we protect him at all times,”.
