The makers of the new Super Mario Bros. have found their Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach. Chris Pratt has signed on for the role of Mario and Charlie Day will play Luigi, Nintendo announced on the night of Thursday to Friday.
It is an animated film about the characters from the popular video games. Princess Peach also appears in it. Her voice is provided by The Queen’s Gambit actress Anya Taylor-Joy.
Jack Black provides the voice of Bowser for the film, Keegan-Michael Key plays Toad and Seth Rogen is roped in for the voice of Donkey Kong.
Super Mario Bros. should hit theaters around the holidays of 2022.
