The pop singer hasn’t been on stage since 2018, but says she is currently “having fun.”
Pop star Britney Spears, who has not performed live since October 2018, gave fans a sneak peek on her possible return to the stage in a video message on Friday.
Spears has answered the most frequently asked questions from her fans in a video that she shared with her more than 30 million followers on Instagram.
Asked about her return to the music world, the 39-year-old said she “has no idea” if she will ever surprise live music lovers.
After questions about her favorite business trip and shoe size, the third was “Am I ready to go back on stage? Will I go back on stage? Will I ever go on stage again?
She replied, “I have no idea. I’m having fun right now. I am in transition in my life and I am having fun. That’s all.”
Previously, the pop superstar revealed that she will not be returning as long as her father oversees her affairs.
His affairs have been controlled by a court-ordered guardianship since 2008 after he suffered a series of public crises captured on paparazzi cameras.
Britney Spears will remotely attend court in Los Angeles next week for a hearing on her guardianship.
