Woman Arrested for Alleged Assault on Actor Charlie Sheen in Malibu Home
Subtitle: Electra Schrock Faces Serious Charges in Disturbing Incident
In a shocking turn of events, a woman identified as Electra Schrock has been apprehended for allegedly assaulting Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen, 58, at his Malibu residence earlier this week.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a battery/disturbance call around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, leading to Schrock’s arrest on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and residential burglary. According to the department’s statement to USA TODAY on Friday, Schrock’s court hearing was scheduled for Friday morning.
Deputies confirmed Charlie Sheen as the victim of the assault upon contacting the involved parties. Although the incident reportedly occurred at Sheen’s residence, the sheriff’s department spokesperson declined to provide further details, as per reports from the Los Angeles Times and NBC News.
Schrock, 47, is now facing felony charges, as indicated by sheriff’s department booking records. If convicted for assault with a deadly weapon involving force likely to cause bodily injury, she could potentially be sentenced to up to four years in state prison or a year in county jail, along with a fine of up to $10,000. First-degree burglary, another charge she faces, carries a potential sentence of up to six years in state prison.
Charlie Sheen, known for his role in “Two and a Half Men,” has largely kept a low profile in recent years after public struggles with drug and alcohol abuse. The actor, who claimed to have been “blacklisted” from the entertainment industry, has a history of domestic incidents, including assaulting his second wife, Brooke Mueller, in 2009, and former girlfriend Brittany Ashland in 1996.
In a 2019 interview on the British morning talk show “Loose Women,” Sheen revealed a year of sobriety, reflecting on his tumultuous past. “Some of it is very surreal,” he said, acknowledging the chaos he created. Sheen currently stars in the new Max series, “Bookie,” a reunion with co-creator Chuck Lorre after their fallout from “Two and a Half Men” in 2011. Lorre recently disclosed that he and Sheen had not spoken for “at least a decade” before collaborating on the new series.
