Actor Daniel Craig will record a new film in November. He plays a key role in Knives Out, a thriller about a detective who is put on a difficult case.
Rian Johnson, the man who made Star Wars: The Last Jedi, will direct the film according to Deadline.
Craig’s new job is in keeping with the news that the upcoming Bond film will be postponed for at least six months. The project came into heavy weather after the producers had dismissed director Danny Boyle. They would have an insurmountable creative disagreement about the scenario and the intended actor for the villain role.
The recordings of Bond 25 would start in December and the premiere was scheduled for October 2019. The problems with the director mean that the project is probably only to be seen in the cinemas by the end of 2020.
The question is whether Craig returns again as James Bond; the actor has passed the fifty by now and has often indicated enough to have the role.
