Comedian and actor Bob Saget has died of a brain haemorrhage, according to US authorities. In the hotel where he stayed, the 65-year-old actor is said to have hit the back of his head and not have known how serious his condition was, TMZ writes . His family has confirmed the news.
Saget was on a comedy tour, staying at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Orlando, Florida. There he hit the back of his head, possibly during a fall, and got a big bump. The actor was found in his bed, authorities now suspect that he went to sleep without knowing how serious his head was.
The investigation report states that Saget had no narcotics in his system. The day of his death, he had done another gig in Orlando where nothing seemed to be amiss.
In a response, the family says they hope that people will especially remember Saget’s love and humor. “And the lesson he taught us all: be nice to everyone, let the people you love know that, and keep smiling and hugging each other through hard times.”
