American soap actress Kathryn Hays has died. She died on March 25 at the age of 88, ‘TV Line’ announced Friday. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Kathryn is best known for her role as Kim Hughes in the CBS soap As the World Turns , which also aired in the Netherlands. The actress made her appearance in 1972 and remained on view for almost 40 years until the series ended in 2010.
In addition to the soap, she appeared in more than forty other series during her career. Her last minor TV role was in a 2007 episode of Law & Order: SVU . She also played several roles on Broadway.
