Ariana Grande has released a new song about her broken relationship with Pete Davidson. The record Thank U, Next appeared Saturday night, just before the broadcast of Saturday Night Live.
“One has taught me something about love, the other about patience, the other about pain”
With the release the singer responds to a promo of the program. In it, her ex Pete Davidson jokes about their fracture. In the video, the comedian introduces himself to musical guest Maggie Rogers. “Hi, I’m Pete, will you marry me?” He jokes, referring to his lightning engagement with Ariana after a few weeks of dating. That joke did not fall in favor with Ariana.
Previously, the 25-year-old American already let her dissatisfaction on Twitter. She did not name Pete’s name, but clearly pointed her arrows at her ex. “For someone who claims that he does not always want to be the latest news, you cling to them very much”, she bit the comedian.
Davidson discussed, one and a half hours after the appearance of the song, in the relevant broadcast of SNL his relationship with Ariana. “I know that some of you are curious but the truth does not appeal to anyone, sometimes things do not work and that’s okay, she’s a great and strong person and I wish her all the luck of the world,” he said.
