A tragic incident occurred at Disneyland’s Mickey and Friends Parking Structure in Anaheim, California on Saturday evening, resulting in the death of an adult woman who fell from the structure.
Police officers and Anaheim Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene shortly after responding to a report of an individual who had either jumped or fallen. Despite receiving aid, the woman was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The woman’s identity has not been disclosed, and it is currently unknown if she was a guest at the theme park. The seven-story parking structure, which can accommodate more than 10,000 cars, was built in 2000 and has been the site of several other fatalities, as reported by local news outlets. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death is currently underway.
According to the Los Angeles Times, in December a man in his 50s jumped to his death from the garage. The report also stated that at least three other people have died after jumping from the structure since it was opened.
